LC Chrome (Low Carbon Ferrochrome,LC Fecr) is een ferroalloy die voornamelijk is samengesteld uitChroom (CR) en IJzer (Fe)met eenLaag koolstofgehalte.
De typische samenstelling van LC Fecr is:
Chroom (CR): 60% – 75%
Koolstof (c): 0.03% – 0.10%(soms tot 0. 5%)
Silicium (SI): 0.5% – 2.0%
Zwavel (s): Minder dan of gelijk aan 0. 03%
Fosfor (P): Minder dan of gelijk aan 0. 03%
IJzer (Fe):Evenwicht

LC Fecr wordt voornamelijk gebruikt inRoestvrijstalen productieEnSpeciale legeringsproductiewaar een laag koolstofgehalte nodig is om carbide -neerslag te voorkomen en corrosieweerstand te behouden.
